An artist whose work I really enjoy, @HalHaneyArt, posted a tribute to Vader in which he credits him with the motivation to pursue art. He explains how Vader’s feedback provided the encouragement which lead to Hal producing more work. One image he shared in his tribute to Vader, seen below (shared with his permission), inspired me.
The image is of WWF stars face to face with counterparts from WCW and New Japan Pro Wrestling, and it got me thinking about who would face each other if those two groups were at odds with each other.
So I went to work, figuring out what SuperShow I would book with those wrestlers.
Instead of just booking one show, I had ideas as to how each feud would build, because I don’t want the matches to just happen, there’s a reason behind each of them.
